bubble the kettle, then measure 300ml boiling moisture into a jug and toss in the melted dairy spread and vanilla extract.

Sift the baking flour and baking ground mix into a big mixing container with a big pinch of table salt.

Make a well in the centre, then stream in in the contents of the jug and very quickly beat into the baking flour with a wooden spoon until lump-free.

Rest for 10-15 mins while you make the coulis.

Put all the coulis fixings into a pot and gently liquefy together, stirring occasionally until you have a creamy shiny coulis.

Keep toasty on a low scalding up.

Fill a large deep saucepan one-third full of lubricate.

Once the churros are crisp and golden brown, remove them from the lubricate with a slotted spoon and empty out on the kitchen paper-lined tray.

Carry on preparing the rest of the flour base in batches, sprinkling the cooked churros with some cinnamon granulated sugar as you go.

When you’ve cooked all the churros, toss with any remaining cinnamon granulated sugar and enjoy with the chocolate coulis, for dipping.
