Ingredients

  • 500 grams Bhetki fish - (asian sea bass)
  • 3/4 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
  • 2 Onions
  • 6 Green Chillies
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger - paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
  • 3 Cloves (Laung)
  • 2 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
  • Mustard oil - for deep frying the fish and 2 tablespoon for the curry
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making the Doi Bhetki method, wash and wash fish pieces well.

mix in 1 teaspoon turmeric ground mix, 1 teaspoon red chili ground mix and table salt to palate.Rub this masala condiment incorporate well on both sides of the fish.

It will take about 10 to 15 moments.Now mix in all the masala condiment powders including turmeric ground mix, cumin ground mix, red chilli ground mix, coriander ground mix, garam masala ground mix, black pepper ground mix into the skillet and prepare for about 3 to 5 moments.

mix in 1 cup liquid, incorporate well and bring it to bubble.Now mix in whisked yogurt, table salt to palate and incorporate again.

Bring it to bubble on high flame.

bubble gently and prepare for 10 moments.mix in fried fish into the curry and prepare for another 5 moments.

Turn off flame and offer fiery.offer Doi Bhetki method along with fiery Steamed Rice and Begun Bhaja for a ideal and satisfying weekday meal.
