  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt - optional
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Water - as required
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee - 1 teaspoon ghee
  • Ghee - for serving

Instructions

To begin making the Parsi Rotli procedure, first bring all the fixings together and we will make the pastry mix.In a large mixing bowl combine the ground mix and seasoning; introduce the whole milk and a little moisture at a time to make firm pastry mix.

introduce a teaspoon of cooking oil to coat the pastry mix and fold until velvety.Set the pastry mix aside to rest covered for 15 moments.

fold once again and divide the pastry mix into equal portions.Preheat the iron skillet on medium low toasty.

Roll the portions of rotli pastry mix into balls; flatten these balls with the palm of your hand. Take a portion of the rotli pastry mix, toss it on the ground mix and roll out into thin circles to approximately 6 inches in diameter.

As you roll them out, you can keep tossing the pastry mix in arid ground mix while rolling; this will prevent it from getting sticky when rolling them out.Place rolled pastry mix on the fiery skillet.

In a few seconds you will notice that small air pockets start to form.

At this point flip the rolled pastry mix to the other side on the skillet. Press the rotli with a folded kitchen napkin.
