Ingredients

  • 15 Prawns
  • 2 Onions - sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Tomato - sliced
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger - paste
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Fresh coconut - grated
  • 2 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
  • 4 teaspoon Sunflower Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making the Prawns Kuzhambu preparation guide, firstly wash the prawns and mix in them in a container.

Now put seasoning and turmeric ground mix, combine them well in a container. bring to temperature oil in a heavy bottomed skillet on medium bring to temperature.

Once the oil is scalding, mix in in the prawns and let it sauté for about 3 moments.

Keep them aside.bring to temperature some more oil in the same skillet, mix in mustard seeds and curry leaves and let it low-boil for 15 seconds.After 15 seconds, break the cardamom pod and mix in to the skillet.

mix in onions and let it low-boil till the shallot turns soft and translucent.Once the onions are cooked, mix in tomato, ginger and garlic.

Let it low-boil for about a minute.scatter the grated coconut. mix in moisture, seasoning and tamarind paste.
