1/2 cup Fresh coconut - grated
1 tablespoon Sunflower Oil
Salt - to taste

To begin making Vazhakkai Podimas method, pressure make the plantains along with the skin with 1/2 cup moisture using a pressure cooker for 2 whistles.Once the plantains are cooked, skin its skin, zest is and keep aside.burning up fat in a pot on medium flame, introduce the mustard seeds, urad dal and let it crackle.introduce the curry leaves and let it splutter.introduce the onions, green chillies and ginger and saute until the onions turns translucent.introduce the grated plantains, savor with seasoning and saute over medium burning up for 5 moments.Once its done, introduce the grated coconut, give it a good swirl around and switch off the flame.offer the Vazhakkai Podimas method along with Steamed Rice and Mixed greens Sambar method for the weeknight dinner.
