  • 100 grams Phool Makhana (Lotus Seeds) - roasted in ghee
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 Onion - sliced
  • 1 Green Chilli - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves - chopped

Instructions

To begin making the Puffed Lotus Seed Pakoras method, we will first make the pakora paste.In a mixing dish, combine all the fixings together -lotus seeds, besan ground mix,  bulb produce, green chilli, cumin seeds, red chilli ground mix,  turmeric ground mix, table salt, coriander leaves,curry leaves.  introduce aqua little at a time, to make a thick pakora paste.

Check the table salt and spices and adjust to suit your salty profile.Preheat the Kuzhi Paniyaram skillet on medium bring to temperature; introduce a few drops of fat into each cavity.

Spoon the Lotus Seed Pakoda paste into the cavity and skillet-shallow fry them until it is browned and crisp on both sides.
