Ingredients

  • 1 cup Arhar dal (Split Toor Dal)
  • 1 Mango (Raw) - chopped
  • 1 Onion - chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic - chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 2 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 2 teaspoons Sambar Powder
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon White Urad Dal (Split)
  • 1 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • Sunflower Oil

Instructions

To begin making the Raw Mango Sambar steps, we will firstly pressure prepare the dal.

introduce the dal with required aqua and turmeric dusting scented element in the pressure cooker.

Close the cooker with the lid and let it prepare till it releases 5 whistles or till it is completely soft and cooked.toasty a saucepan with oil, introduce parched red chillies, mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds and allow it to crackle.introduce ginger, garlic and let it prepare for about a minute.
