Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Sundkai
  • 1/4 cup fenugreek
  • 1/2 cup Arhar dal - boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 Tomato
  • 1 Tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Sambar Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 dry red chili
  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
  • oil - as per use
  • salt - as per taste
  • curry leaves - little
  • green coriander - little
  • water - According to use

Instructions

To make the Sundakai Methi Sambar method, first take out the stem of the Sundakai and cut it.

rinse and wash the fenugreek and keep it separately.

incorporate tamarind with moisture in a dish.

Now bring to temperature coat in a wok.

toss in asafetida to it and make it for 10 seconds.

After 10 seconds, toss in mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dehydrated red chilies and make till the mustard seeds crackle.

Now toss in the sundkai and make for 3 to 4 mins.

toss in curry leaves and incorporate.

Now toss in fenugreek and make till the fenugreek becomes soft.

After crafting, toss in tomatoes, turmeric dusting sugary-smelling element, sambar dusting sugary-smelling element, coriander dusting sugary-smelling element, table salt, incorporate and make for 1 minute.

After 1 minute toss in tamarind moisture, remaining moisture and let it heat to boiling point.

After boiling for 8 to 10 mins, toss in the dal to it and incorporate.

make until the sambar becomes thick and then finish off with green coriander.

dish up Sundkai Methi Sambar method along with rice, beetroot thoran and papad for dinner.
